· Government: they have an absolute monarchy- the monarch exercises ultimate governing authority.
· Religion: there is not protection for freedom of religion and 97% of the population is Muslim.
· Products: Saudi Arabia economy is petroleum-based. The 75% of the revenues and 90% of export earnings come from the oil industry.
This country has about 260 billion barrels of oil reserves.
· Money: Riyal is the currency of Saudi Arabia. It is subdivided into 100 halala.
· Issue: there are a lot of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia.
And there are two stories that ask why these troops are there. Some say that they are there “to disrupt militant groups of counter threats”.
While others say that the troops are there just because they want to get their oil. Saudi Arabia has one-fifth of proven, convention world oil reserve.
· Solutions
o Dominance: they choose a country for ordering according to the resources, technology and money that it has. The chosen one will decide what to do for changing the situation of Saudi Arabia- became it a secure place and make good use of the oil.
o Reciprocity: the represent of both countries talk and get an agreement, they decide how the oil will be divided- if it will be sold or not- and what to do with it. They will also create strategies for eliminating the terrorism.
