Argentina.... Jaime

Typical Food of Argentina

The most common meal is a barbecue that includes a lot of steaks, such as:
-Bife de Chorizo (beef sausage)

-Churrasco
-Chorizo (pork sausage)
-Morcilla (blood sausage)
-Beef Ribs
Other typical dishes are:
-Empanadas
-Milanesas(breaded and fried meat)
-Any kind of pizza
- Polenta
- Chimichurri (type of sauce)
- Pastas(eaten with sauce of pesto or white sauce):
-Fettuccine
-Ravioli
-Gnocchi
-Cannelloni

Also desserts like:
-Ensaimadas
-Alfajores
-Dulce de leche (caramel)
-Scones

And Mate(the dried leaves and twigs of the mate plant are placed in a small cup and added hot water)
